We are a HK based foreign owned SME. We have a small product that has been awarded a patent overseas with further applications in process.. We have CAD designs produced. The plan is as follows: 1. Prototype and develop the physical product via manufacturers in Taiwan or China. 2. Design packaging and negotiate contracts with the manufacturer. 3. Ensure the product complies with US/EU/ANZ safety and compliance standards and have the packaging labelling reflect that. 4. Arrange a logistics partner or several partners who can arrange warehousing, pick n' pack, and courier direct to purchaser. 5. Online store via Shopee, Shopify, Amazon. We are looking for a freelancer with experience in managing the development of new products in China or Taiwan and bringing that to market. You should have the ability to plan projects and create a project plan (Gantt Chart or list of tasks in sequence with time estimates), manage the actions of other suppliers or freelancers such as designers, and communicate with manufacturers. Experience in product sourcing and design , blow moulding and compliance would be advantageous. If your skills include the e-commerce tasks that would be an advantage but not crucial. Must speak read and write Mandarin Chinese and be able to communicate in English. As this is a new concept in the market we will need to arrange a separate marketing plan - that will be a separate project.
